Message From The Pastor

Greetings in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ;
I would like to thank you for taking a moment, in your busy schedule, to view our website. Our goal is to present a Biblical worldview to a world that has lost its moorings and, in so doing, bring hope through Christ. It is our prayer that you might find the gathering of Grace Baptist Church a place where you will find true and caring disciples of Jesus Christ.

The psalmist has said, "You have dealt well with your servant, O Lord, according to your word. Teach me good judgment and knowledge, for I believe in your commandments (Ps. 119:65)." It is clear that the psalmist realized that the totality of his life was directed by the hand of the Lord and that a proper view of life was only recognized by a proper understanding of God's word.

It is therefore, necessary that we hold the Word of God as our supreme rule of faith and practice. To this end all of our ministries are built upon that foundation (Our mission statement reflects that commitment). Further, we endeavor to see individuals and families grow in the grace and knowledge of Our Lord Jesus Christ. As a group of born again believers, we endeavor, through Christ, to be authentic and consistent in our walk with God and, in turn, with each other. Further, we desire that you would experience that dynamic relationship as you fellowship and worship with us.

I invite you to be a part of a ministry where hope is found in a personal relationship with Jesus Christ. I would encourage you to consider the words of our lord in John 3:16-17. God loved us (the world) enough that he came to take our sin for us and put it to death on a cross so that we might have life and life eternal. God came, in the form of man, to give life. We must act in faith, believing, that his sacrifice on the cross, and that alone, was sufficient payment for our sin. Further, that through His resurrection we have the assurance of life and life eternal. Will you consider your relationship with Him Today?
