Come Grow in the Word With Us

Core Values

  • We value doctrinally Pure Church.

Since the Bible is God's infallible and inerrant Word, it stands as our only authoritative rule for life and belief. In all ministries, weather it be teaching, preaching, music, associations, and programs we cannot tolerate error in any inscripturated truth. Maintaining pure doctrine must be our ultimate goal.

  • We value Biblical Unity.

While there is diversity in the body of Christ, it is our goal that all would be committed to the unity of our mission. We must allow flexibility and diversity of our gifts in fulfilling that intended purpose, but we must discipline ourselves to be singularly minded in accomplishing those goals.

  • We value Servant Leadership.

In every area of ministry we must be committed to an understanding and exercise of Servant leadership. This means that one who leads is selfless and places themselves under the authority and accountability of Christ and the church. Further, all areas of ministry must be lead by biblically qualified leaders who serve under pastoral leadership and congregational government.

  • We value Church Centered Ministry.

The N.T teaches that ministry is to be carried out through the local, visible body of Christ, the church. This happens as the church is scattered through its community. Therefore, it is the purpose of the local church ministry to equip and direct the body for this service. 1 Timothy 3:15

  • We value sustained Excellence.

Each member, of the body of Christ, must commit themselves to a pursuit of excellence in their respective ministry endeavors. While we recognize that we are not perfect, until heaven, opportunity for growth must be provided. However, we must always remember that in all we do we must represent and serve Christ. Colossians 3:23.

  • We value Strong Families.

The family unit and structure is the most important institution given us by our Lord for in this unit one is given the example of Christ's relationship to his church. It is therefore important that all we endeavor to support and encourage strong family commitment and effective interpersonal growth within that structure. The church and the hoe should never be seen as competing institutions, Rather, they should be complementary and working in unity so that all members of the home are effectively serving Christ. Ephesians 6:1-4.

  • We value Authentic Community.

It is our commitment to developing genuine fellowship and caring community for one another so that those who come into our fellowship might see Christ as truly the center of our lives. We must strive to biblically and lovingly encourage, exhort and admonish one another to be all that God has commanded them to be. By this we will fulfill the command of God and demonstrate genuine Christ like living. Galatians 6:1-5, 1 John 3:16-18.

  • We value Authentic Worship.

The Bible instructs us to worship in spirit and in truth (John 4:24) Jesus places the emphasis on the fact that our human spirit must approach God by way of the Truth revealed in His word. Therefore, every time we come together we must come not with outward conformity to religious rituals or places but, inwardly (in spirit), with the proper heart attitude. Psalm95:6; Hebrews 12:28.
